The 4th edition of In the Footprints of our Faith, a compilation of 27 articles about the most important Holy Sites in the Holy Land, can now be downloaded in various formats from our website.
Thanks to the hard work of Footprints editor Fr. Jesus Gil, this new edition of Footprints now includes a new chapter about the pools at Bethesda, and all-new graphics from National Geographic of Calvary and the Holy Sepulchre.
The articles in “In the Footprints of Our Faith” offer religious, historical, and archaeological considerations about important sites in the Holy Land: Nazareth, Ein Karem, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Jordan River, Cana, Capernaum, the Lake of Gennesaret, Bethany, Emmaus, and more. They have been written in hopes of helping each reader personally “immerse” in the Gospel, as St. Josemaria recommended, so that the Word of God may have a deep and lasting effect on the reader’s life.
There are two versions available: the normal edition and the extended edition. The extended edition contains some stories about the trip of Blessed Alvaro del Portillo to the Holy Land in 1994, since it was after that trip to the Holy Land and Blessed Alvaro’s death immediately afterwards that the faithful of Opus Dei began the Saxum project.
This new edition can be downloaded for free on Google Play Books or the Apple Store, or in PDF format from our website. We also provide .mobi and .epub file format, and offer each chapter in separate PDF format.
For those who would like to order the book for private use, you can find instructions on the various print-on-demand services from whom you can order the book.
